Testing Center

The MCC Testing Center is an innovative testing site that provides MCC students and the community-at-large with an optimal testing experience. Testing can help you evaluate the skills you have, and need, to advance your academic and career goals.

The MCC Testing Center offers:

• Admission and program-specific exams which are national and state-wide such as the ACT, ACCUPACER, ATI TEAS, HESI, HiSET, MSSC CPT, PSB, SAT, TCFP, and TSIA.
• Alternative placement or credit in areas of demonstrated academic proficiency through alternative placement or credit by exam. These exams are provided in cooperation with the college registrar and respective academic departments. Credit by exams offered are CLEP (College Level Examination Program) and MCC Departmental Examinations. Additional credit by exams accepted are AP (College Board Advanced Placement Program Examination) and IB (Credit for an International Baccalaureate Examination). The current alternative placement exams offered are MCC's MPE (Math Placement Exam).
• Instructional exam services for accommodated testing, make-up exams, and certain certification/exit exams for current MCC students. 
• External and correspondence exams for MCC University Center students and the community-at-large.

MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the MCC Testing Center is to promote and support the achievement of personal educational and professional goals by providing and maintaining accessible, comprehensive, quality testing services in a calm and secure environment for prospective and current students, alumni, faculty, staff, and the community at large. To provide prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable services to all and promote honesty, integrity, and fairness in all testing procedures.

All services, tests, and results are strictly confidential in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974. Disclosure of information cannot be made without the individual's written consent.

LOCATION & HOURS

The MCC Testing Center is located on the second floor of the Student Services Center next to the Completion Center.

Parking: We recommend you park in parking lot B then walk through the Michaelis Academic Center (MAC) to the center of campus. The Student Service Center will be to your right. Take the bridge to the second floor where the testing center is located.

Walk-in testing is available based on seat availability for some exams.

Testing Center Closures

Inclement Weather - The Testing Center observes all College closures.
In the event of inclement weather closing or delay, information will be available at www.mclennan.edu. Closings and delays are also announced on McLennan's social media pages and through the McLennan student email.
